For soft, soft hair....
The ultimate duo in a team is shampoo and conditioner, both are essential for taking care of our hair.
We know it, but the function of shampoo is to free the hair from dust and dead cells, excess sebum and residue from styling products. When washing, the shampoo will slightly open the hair scales to provide deep cleaning. And that's where our duo comes to do a superhero job.
Conditioner, conditioner or conditioner is the same product, but with a different name due to different translations.
The conditioner smoothes the surface of the hair by closing the scales, it will protect the hair from harmful external influences such as light, heat, sun, friction, wind, sea water, swimming pool water. Its application will help enormously to reduce the risk of split ends and brittle hair.
With the scales closed, the hair will keep a little more moisture inside. The hair will be softer, shinier and easier to comb. It will be less likely to produce static electricity.
How should you apply conditioner?
To begin with, we must do the shampoos necessary for proper cleaning, after rinsing the last shampoo, we squeeze the hair a little to remove excess water, but we must not twist it, then we apply the appropriate product on the tip and lengths of the hair. Never applying a product to the roots, the scalp already produces sebum which is used to moisturize the scalp. If you apply conditioner to the lengths your scalp could become greasy much more quickly, the hair will be heavier and with less volume. Ideally, we leave it on for 1 to 3 minutes so that it penetrates deeply.
You can now rinse your hair with lukewarm or cold water if you are able.
There is a wide variety of conditioners, it will be important to choose the right one suited to the needs and characteristics of our hair.
